Biography

Ivan Naborshchikov - violinist and composer. Was born in Novosibirsk in 1997. Graduated from the Musical College of the Novosibirsk State Conservatory, class of Professor Marina Kuzina. Studied at the Moscow State Conservatory under Professor Irina Bochkova, currently a student, class of Professor Alexander Vinnitsky. Laureate of international violin competitions, gold medalist of the XI-th and XII-th Youth Delphic Games of Russia. Participant of concert and educational programs at the Summit Music Festival in New York, as well as master classes for violinists and world-renowned teachers such as Eduard Schmider, Natalya Prishchepenko, Klara-Jumi Kan, Oleg Krysa. In 2019 he became an artist of the musicAeterna orchestra (artistic director Teodor Currentzis). In October 2020, he performed as part of the legendary Borodin Quartet at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival. In the spring of 2021, together with the violinist Svetlana Gurzhiy, he released an album of works for two violins on the Oclassica label.

His works are performed in the best halls of Russia, the premieres of his works are highly appreciated by listeners and critics. Laureate of international composers' competitions, participant of contemporary music festivals, master classes and lectures by world famous composers such as Enjott Schneider, Lera Auerbach. His piece "Rondo" for violin and piano was chosen as a compulsory piece for the semifinal of the senior group of the VIII Leopold Auer International Competition for Violin and String Quartets.
